For the team at Beam Team Games, who are developing their first game Stranded Deep, that's an experience they can draw on to make one of the most realistic survival games to date. Stranded Deep is a survival simulator where you're stranded on a desert island. You have to explore, craft items and tools from the materials found in nature, and maintain your health and safety as the elements of wind, rain, day/night cycles, and thirst all conspire against you.
